Dear Users,
Although AScore has existing violation and point-counted procedures (SOP 1121129-2-7), considering the IACUC's enforcement of the 21-day weaning period and the requirement of one batch of pups per cage last year (2025), AScore temporarily suspended the notification of points to the IACUC to facilitate user. However, with the gradual increase in users and the opening of new rooms, there are increasing users who repeatedly violate the rules. Therefore, starting after the Lunar New Year in February, 2026, the original settings will be restored:
"Once the number of violations reaches the system's conversion threshold (e.g., 3 violations in a month), and is officially converted to a 'point' record by the system," it will be reported to the IACUC monthly for review, according to IACUC regulations. The number of violations provides users with a buffer period before directly resulting in an official point record (but an official point record will definitely be reported to the IACUC).
The above principles of transparency can be seen in the annual user lecture course and in the user's system homepage - Table of Violations, as shown in the attached image. Please pay attention and cooperate it.
