The original method of sacrifice in Area C was to remove the mouse from their home cage, place it in a cube acrylic box, and then sacrifice it with CO2.

Based on animal welfare,
The sacrifice method of area C was changed to use a special top cover (with CO2 gas outlet) to cover the original mouse cage (home cage)
This new CO2 sacrifice method can significantly reduce the animal stress
As shown in the attached picture

(1) Please keep the original "CO2 flow rate" and do not change it.
(2) The special top cover fits the cage closely and is less likely to release CO2; But the iron frame needs to be removed first.
