一、定義：所謂公用小鼠旅館為將實驗小鼠自公動9樓C區C2房C2-3之IVC架移自各所中心實驗室中進行特殊實驗，並在「同日」返回9樓C區C2房C2-3之IVC架放置(不可滯留實驗室過夜)。
因此，係在提供以上流程之實驗動物暫時代養/觀察、進行短期實驗之場所。場所內僅限進行RG1(ABSL-1, P1)生物安全等級之動物實驗(請自行參照生物安全等級規範表)，嚴禁於公用小鼠旅館內進行任何RG2(ABSL-2, P2)生物安全等級以上(含)之實驗。
二、使用者須(1) 事先報名額外的公用小鼠旅館實習(詳底下「報名表單」)、(2) 實習當日提交P.I.簽名之「使用責任聲明(附件一)」、才可使用公用小鼠旅館；此實習與一般的動物房實習不同(SOP完全不同)，因此請獨立分開報名。

三、使用者須確實遵循至少「每週」實驗室定期清潔、及勿操作/接觸其它嚙齒類動物...等規範。
四、使用者須在C區實驗室BSC內更換成「設施運輸籠」後，才能攜回至實驗室、不可使用紙盒，並在回程時先至C區實驗室BSC內更換回「設施原有鼠籠」，才可擺上IVC架。
五、公用小鼠旅館代養時間限制為「一個月」，攜出/攜回時間也必須遵守設施門禁規範；公用小鼠旅館內不可進行繁殖。
六、為避免可能的病原傳播風險，公用小鼠旅館之動物飲用水一律使用每週滅菌後之乾淨無菌「水瓶」、不使用自動飲水系統。
七、例行季檢比照本設施C區小鼠檢測項目，最多為17項/年。

I. Definition: A public mouse hotel is a service where mouse are moved from the IVC rack (C2-3, Room C2, Area C, 9th Floor) of the AScore to laboratories for special experiments, and then returned to the IVC rack (C2-3, Room C2, Area C, 9th Floor) on the same day (cannot be remained in the lab overnight).
Therefore, it is a place for the temporary housing/observation of lab animals and for short-term experiments using the above procedures. Only RG1 (ABSL-1, P1) biosafety level animal experiments are permitted within the public mouse hotel (please refer to the biosafety level table). Any experiments of RG2 (ABSL-2, P2) biosafety level or higher are strictly prohibited within the public mouse hotel.
II. Users must (1) register in advance for an additional public mouse hotel training course (see the "Registration Form" below), and (2) submit a P.I. signed "Responsibility Statement (Attachment 1)" on the day of the training course to use the public mouse hotel. This training course differs from a regular animal room training course (the SOP is completely different), therefore, please register separately.

III. Users must strictly obey the regulations regarding at least each week in laboratory cleaning and avoiding handling/contact with other rodents.
IV. Users must replace the rodents in the "AScore transport cages" within the BSC in Area C before bringing them back to the lab. Carton box is prohibited. Upon return, users must first replace the rodents in the "original facility cages" within the BSC in Area C before placing them back on the IVC rack.
V. The housing period for public mouse hotel is limited to "one month". The time for taking the mouse out and back must also comply with AScore access control regulations. Breeding is prohibited within the public mouse hotel.
VI. To avoid potential risks of pathogen transmission, all drinking water for the animals in the public mouse hotel will be supplied using clean "water bottles" that are sterilized weekly; automatic water drinking system will not be used.
VII. Routine quarterly inspections will also be conducted in public mouse hotel, Area C of AScore, with a maximum of 17 tests per year.
